TabTrade Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker
Tab Trade - The Short Version
Tab Trade launched in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
His background matters. It means the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.
The Software
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. Many only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people like it better than MT5 once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should be a good addition once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker does not.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.
Combine that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
Safety
This is the detail you need to be straight about. The broker is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. But be part of your decision.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that works is your call.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
Everything in one place, with the full fee table, withdrawal policies, tabtrade and regulatory details, is at Trade The Day.
