What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026
The Broker - What It Is
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The execution is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.
Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
This is the part that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
